Sleepy or overlooked?

This morning, I checked my iPad and still 10%.
What had happened?
Last night, before I go to bed, I have the iPad plugged to recharge the battery, never double check if is really charging or not. And that was my mistake. Or I am just too sleepy?
Sigh.
Lesson learned, double check the cable charger, lol.
Have you ever had the same thing because you either overlooked it or sleepy?

You should stop that habit of charging your gadget overnight. Countless fires have already occurred because of unattended gadgets being charged. Besides, the charger should immediately be unplugged once the battery is fully-charged. Safety first :)

@Lucky15 How can it be a blessing in disguise when you're putting your house in danger?

Yes. I have plugged it up, and really did not check my phone, so now I make sure.

Maybe you are indeed too sleepy to see if it was properly pugged in.
The other night I also charged my phone and slept after I plugged it on. But when I woke up in the wee hours of the morning , it was still at 24%, as when I charged it. I even berated my hubby that maybe he unplugged it for him to be able to charge. But he said he didn't.
So, I brought it to the office and let our electrician check it. He discovered that the cable isn't good anymore. My staff bought me a cable of the charger and it was now charging fast.

Don't charge it before you sleep because you never know if its overcharge. Better check whether the battery or charger was at fault.

I don't charge my gadgets (mobile phone, iPad, etc) before I go to bed because I have the tendency of forgetting to unplug them. It's risky because my phone's battery might explode if left overcharged for a very long time.

I had it too! I wondered why my cellphone did not charge although I had it plugged for three hours, and when I checked I had used a charger for that bathroom cleaning brush!

I tried one time to use someone's charger to charge my phone somewhere else and it did not work and then used another person's and it was better. I feel better charging mine at home with my own charger. I did not have it and my battery went down so low.
