We are having moderately cool evenings right now so we turned off the air conditioning and opened the window in the bedroom. Of course Princess decided she needed to sit in the window and yowl to get out. It did not work. We removed her from the room and shut our door. Hubby was kind of restless last night, so I am tired today. He slept in kind of late. I have some projects planned, like making inner curtains for the Yellow room. I have fabric that is white with big yellow dots. It needed a home. It will look nice and crisp. Hubby is cooking up some burgers for us and doing his laundry. I ended up having to wash a big comforter because of an accident a little grandson had in his sleep. It is all good though. Time to go eat lunch. Cheeseburgers with no bread. Salad. Icecream. Fruit. Are you hungry yet?

We had lunch a little more than one hour ago, linguine with pesto. I have so much basil in the garden.

@LadyDuck I have one called Thai basil and one called Queen of Siam. I buy that one just because it is so showy. I love it. Of course it tastes good and is healthy too.

I try to eat lighter at night, but really my meals are often equal. Hubby is gone this morning. I am going to surprise him. I have meatloaf in the freezer, already cooked. It is one of his favorites.

we always have rice for lunch or supper, with viands of course. i also open the upper jalousies of my room when i sleep at night

We do not do rice very often either. I like it though. Hubby does not so much. It feels so good to be able to have fresh air in now and again.

Cool evenings are really cool to enjoy. A white fabric with yellow dots sounds good to brighten up a room and also the mood. Enjoy your lunch.

Yes. I call that my yellow room. I have an old metal bedframe and it is painted yellow and the spread I use is yellow with butterfiles on it.

We've been pretty warm/hot the last few days, but we're a little cooler today too. Even had a thundershower for about an hour earlier. burgers sound good, hope they were.
