Ghosts with Accents

Do you think that people keep their accents when they die? I wonder if for instance someone died as a Southerner, could they then change their accent or language even to anything they wanted? I wonder if ghosts or spirits can speak and understand any given language. Just something I was wondering about.

The deceased people I have seen in my dreams, spoke the same language they did when they were alive, now were those dreams or did I really speak with them?

Yes that is the main question Anna. Were they really dreams?

@Courage7 When I was a kid, I used to say "how we know we will go in a nice place when we die?". My daddy told me, I promise that I will come back to tell you. Well, he did. I was so scared that I screamed, what a stupid thing to do. I heard enough, I know he is happy where he is.

I think if old Aunt Mabel came to pay me a visit from the other side, the last thing I would have a question about is her new German accent.

Yes I was wondering if there would be any language barrier when we die. Maybe we can understand all, it would be good Albert

I don't know but I would think that we would sound the same, don't know if they could understand other languages if they didn't speak them when they passed.

@Courage7 No, its healthy to wonder about things in this lifetime, keeping the mind wondering and always looking for answers is always worth the venture.

It's fascinating to think on. If they carry accents, it would be better for us to know from where the ghost belong [

Yes I guess if they could jump places, they could also change accents and languages.

@Courage7 I doubt that would be true. If they left home they would still.be them..their dialect wouldn't change.

I have never thought about that. From my point of view, to see one I would be too scared to worry about whether they had an accent or not.

@Courage7 My Daddy and Grandparents and most of the relatives on that side of the family are firm believers in ghosts and have seen them. I tell you what, I don't want to see one.

I have reminisced or rather, remembered my mother's and my father's voice from recent memory, when I try to think of them, so I would say, they probably speak with their best true accent, that they had when they were in their prime of live while on earth.

Yes they keep their accents and language, but I think they can have a better understanding for other languages in their spirit life. Not all spirits pass over for one reason or another. They might not even see us, others can understand but respond in their native language. The conscience of their being has changed and it depends on what plane they are on in the spirit world.
