Here are a few inside secrets I found out about a certain fast food restuarant. Would any of these discoveries make you think twice about eating there? -The biscuits are frozen not homemade. They are delivered in cases and oven heated. -Powder packets are used to make the mashed potatoes and gravy. -Because the chicken is made fresh not frozen during busy times they will run out, which means wait times of up to 20 minutes. -Pot pies are made with left over chicken after closing. The chicken is shredded and placed in plastic bags ready for orders the following day. Are any of these discoveries a "turn off" for you? Would you still eat at this fast food place knowing some of these secrets? Do you have a favorite fast food place which sells chicken? Source info- Pop Sugar Photo- huffingtonpost.com

Those particular things you mentioned wouldn't turn me off. I would expect that pot pies were made from left-over chicken so that doesn't surprise me. I don't eat chicken from fast food places often but once in a blue moon we get KFC

And I use leftovers all the time. In fact, even Wendy's Chili is made from leftover hamburgers. People aren't getting sick and they still have standards, so I don't think it is an issue. In fact, I like that they are creative in finding ways to not waste food.

I never eat in fast food, but I have watched videos of the employees of a very famous chain getting the coleslaw leftovers from the tables and placed in containers to serve to other clients.

@dgobucks226 Sometimes I check the videos taken with hidden cameras in fast food places. What I saw convinced me never to put my feet there.

Wow! That is disgusting. Glad I have rarely eaten at fast food restaurants. Makes you wonder what else these places do to save income?

Actually hygiene is a big issue in India and the fast food chains maintain better hygiene than roadside stalls and the water quality is also better.

If I eat at a fast food restaurant, I am not expecting quality. That is why, I rarely eat at one now that I am more educated.

None of that surprises me AT ALL. I don't eat fast food so it doesn't bother me.

To be honest, I never feel completely safe eating food from any restaurant - fast or otherwise.

Perhaps the leftover aggregation gives unique flavour! . Well jokes apart we have low cost eating joints called as "Dhabas" in India which do not look as nice as restaurants but some of these cook fresher vegetables, Pulses and cottage cheese than the restaurants. But the 30 minutes Pizzas at Pizza Hut and Domino's mostly cook fresh.

In the United States the Dhabas would be like roadside truck stops. We are also big on roadside food carts You might be right about that leftover potpie chicken, lol.

I'm pretty sure Wendy's chili is made from left-over hamburgers, but it's still good. I would rather eat a TV dinner than our local KFC or Sonic.

@dgobucks226 It doesn't need to be worried. We don't have Chic-fil-A here.

Oh that's a bummer. Chic-fil-A will be disappointed. Does the cow in the commercial need to be worried?
The cows are not above a little subterfuge if it helps wake people up to chicken.

These things wouldn't put me off. When you have so many customers coming through in a day some shortcuts can't be avoided.

@dgobucks226 If you're at a fast food joint you don't want to wait while they catch the chicken.

No. Not really. One thing I think anyone needs to know is "fast food." It will be salty, processed, manufactured, and whatever other word you want to use. It will not be healthy, it will not be genuine. Who knows how it is made. It is what it is. It's fast food. It's sort of like walking into a casino. If you think you are going to walk out rich, you have entered the doors of the wrong place.

Very true about fast food. Now Casinos for 99% of us you have a point, it's the 1% who hit those jackpots right in front of me who make me question that theory, lol.

I really don't care for them. I worked in one once and it was full of mice, but customers didn't really care.
