Is Life Predestined?

Is Life Predestined? That everything that is happening to us was already written. Our birth, marriage, joy, pain, and death was already engraved in the book of the Almighty? Do we write our own destiny? or the wind of fate just take us to what is already written?

If we have to believe what is written in the Bible is from God, and that we belive in God then yes. Our lives are written. But this is contradicting to what we say that " Life is what we make it". So for me, let's do our best each day that we are on this earth. Because tomorrow is another day and another challenge. Live and enjoy and make the most out of it.

I think everything has been determined by God in destiny
but no one knows his destiny, only God knows
Even when you try hard or you don't want to try it is destined
So now back to your own thoughts and determination, are you optimistic about your future or not?
Do you think well of your God or not? God who has determined your destiny?

About the query? I just let my life flow with wind of fate... I believe there's God but God for me is unknowable. I can never say to other people I am safe upon the coming, I cannot say He is my best friend because everything is up to Him. I just do what I think good but I am only human, weak sometimes.

I think we are living our lives and must do the very best with what we have and are given. I believe in time we are given another chance at another life and so when we experience deja vu we want to have pleasant feelings not bad ones if we messed up one life. This revelation came to me when I brought my mom back to her homeland in Latvia in 1994. She had been born and raised there and so must also end her days there. I was born and raised in the US and now given the opportunity I have returned to where I must be.

I believe we make our own life, I don't believe it is predestined. I think attitude and many other things make our life interesting, a positive attitude makes life easier, I believe.
