They (whoever they may be) say that red cabbage is more healthy than green. So this morning I boiled some red with pork sausage and a large amount of apple cider vinegar. Healthy or not, it tastes good!

Red cabbage has more Vitamin A and C than the green one, but the green cabbage has more Vitamin K. My husband likes red cabbage, raw, finely sliced. I am not a fan of any kind of cabbage.

I recently bought some red cabbage to put in coleslaw - but I ended up not making the slaw . Instead I put it in a normal salad - made it much more colorful! Better then if it made it healthier!

You all cook so funnily. Ours are so elaborate that the process becomes something to evade. Just take pork, chop some cabbage add vinegar and boil, eh? Easiest thing to cook. lol. We would chop cabbage fine, chop some onions and season oil with some ingredients then fry onions till golden brown, then finally add cabbage and cover with lid...at times use potatoes, or at times add tomato before adding cabbage. If we add tomato, we wait for it to be done too before adding cabbage. Time consuming is all I can say.

Oh, sometimes I cook very time-consuming foods. My bread takes about three hours, mac and cheese...boil the mac, make a roux of butter and flour, add grated cheese and milk with a bit of freshly grounded pepper to make a great tasting sauce and then put it all together in baking pans and bake until the top is browned!

I admit that I'd much rather eat something from Tommy's but the cabbage was not too bad!
