Spent All Night Cleaning My Bedroom

I feel like most of my life right now is spent battling my toddler for control of my house. While I am cleaning up one thing, she's on the other side of the room dumping something out and making a new mess. It's awesome. Last night, while I was getting her some milk, she took off her diaper, pooped and peed on my pillow, and while I was cleaning it up, I stepped on a picture frame and shattered it all over the carpet. So I spent all this night cleaning, so we can do it all over again. Sure I had other things that I wanted to do, but now that my surroundings are a little cleaner, I can think. I loved to declutter. Not spending time cleaning, but knowing that I've lightened my load. So now that I can focus a bit, I think I will make one of my other daughters a pencil bag for her first day of first grade. I hope she likes it! I'm going to post it here when I'm done. Also on the agenda, writing a blog post on my personal blog about the benefits of giving a toddler their own cell phone. I know it sounds crazy, but in this age of technology, it is very useful. I use one as sort of a nanny cam for my toddler and 6 year old. Plus she can watch Moana while her brother plays XBOX and take cute pictures of her family. I like it when technology brings people closer together rather than push people apart. Hope you are having a fabulous day!

Yes they do. I have been raising them for 20 years. She's great, but the toddler years are a challenge. There are plenty of great moments though. :)

Some of my young relatives were given digital cameras years ago at a very tender age, so that the kids would take any pictures they wanted. They showed me some, quite funny (eg, people with no heads).

Oh dear, it's pretty hopeless trying to keep a spotless house when you have young children.
