For two weeks I am testing a food plan where the food is delivered and you cook the meals at home. Initially, as a special, it will cost $34 a week for 6 meals which come to a little less than $6 a meal but there are the extras I will have to buy to make it a complete meal like salad makings, dessert, etc.
I will be making/tasting 12 meals to see how easy/hard/long it takes to make each meal—will also test for portion size, nutritional value, costs, what will have to be added to make a complete meal, satisfaction, plus and negatives if any, etc., and then will see if I will continue or cancel the plan.
This is the first meal:
Time: 25-35 minutes Ingredients (all included in the package): boneless/skinless chicken thighs, a small baguette, 1/2 lb cocktail tomatoes, 2 cloves garlic, 1/4 grated Parmesan cheese,2 Persian cucumbers, 1 oz Kalamata olives, 2 tbs. red wine vinegar, 2 tbs. mayonnaise and 1 tbsp Italian dressing

(C&P--should work!)

So the package has most of the ingredients and the recipe and you put it all together? Interesting!

Your meal looks really good and the price is reasonable for 6 meals. Is the meal size for only one person or is it enough to feed more?

@GreatMartin I learned that decades ago looking at the McDonalds. I saw big burgers on pictures and small burgers with mixed kinds of meat in reality.

So was that a video that went with this? If so, what's the verdict on this thing? Was it edible?

@GreatMartin 1. The Deep State has blocked your file.
2. OK, but be quick about it. At my age, I only have so much time left!

Does Fedex deliver because that is who handle the Blue Apron shipments?

@akalinus $6 per supper meal??? Not asking but I am sure I live on less per month than you do BUT I don't have a car so I save $2-3,000 a year right there plus I guess we all have our priorities so I am not being negative just that I can tell you to the penny what I spend on food every month. This might turn out to be too expensive for me as right now I am on a 'special' price so I don't know what will happen in 3 weeks.
I am a coupon and special hunter!!
