Which pepper is best for your cooking

There are various kind of peppers that suit some meals we need to prepare. I love black pepper,bell pepper, Cayenne pepper,chilli pepper etc depending on what I'm preparing. Which is the best you use for your dishes?

When I barbecue, I like to use chili powder. When I cook, I like to use green pepper.
