Volleyball players unknowingly mass killed the population of an endangered bird species

I have nothing against killing animals food as long as it is not endangered. This one though is out of stupidity. Beach volleyball players notice a nesting ground of eggs on a beach. These dumb Volleyball players decided to use the eggs an attack line for their volleyball game. These eggs are buried to protect them from the sun. What they did exposed the eggs to the harsh sunlight, baking them in process. These are eggs of endangered species.

They can draw an attack line with a stick on the sand instead of eggs of endangered birds.

They are so insensitive; killing the would-be birds in the process.

They can use rocks and shells as their attack line instead of birds.

Stupid, stupid and more stupid! As a famous person named Voltaire once said: "Common sense is not so common." One of our nearby beaches has a roped off area to protect endangered birds called "pipping plovers." What a shame this happened?

It is a good thing it's roped so beach bummers won't have access to them. We know there is no cure for stupid.
