If you know me, then you know I'm not a cat person. So you'll probably figuring “She asking for a cat. She must be really desperate!” It's a joke but I'm also serious. There used to be a show on television about a teenage witch. Her name was Sabrina. My husband liked the show. I watched it every once in a while. My memory is fuzzy but I seem to recall one time on the show, Sabrina was having a problem with her computer mouse. Sabrina has a black cat that serves as her comic sidekick, I guess. My husband actually liked the show, not because of Sabrina the witch, but because of the black cat! Anyway! Even though Sabrina is a witch and could probably use her magic, but she wants to be normal. She becomes frustrated because the mouse for her computer isn't working properly. Her cat is sure that he can fix it. She's like “You're a cat! How are you're going to fix this?!” So the cat says (yes her cat talks) … her cat says: “Oh pull-leeeze! Show me a cat that can't work a mouse!” I'm having a Sabrina-monent. My computer mouse is acting up again! I don't know why!! I don't want to bother my kids again because they bought me a brand new mouse. I don't think I've had it for that long. I hate using the mouse pad on my laptop. I don't know why it started acting so quirky all of a sudden. The pointer keeps hiding from me. The red light goes off. UUGGGHH!!! I NEED A CAT!!! * * * Just a little bit of tech trivia. The geeks may know this but I didn't. Mickey Mouse is “the unit of measurement that calculates the speed and movement direction of a mouse. Both directional and horizontal movements are measured, in horizontal mickey count and vertical mickey counts respectively.”

I also loved the black cat of Sabrina the witch. Interesting trivia.

Could be dust in the mouse or humidity making it stick. I just roll it around on my leg or palm until it unsticks itself. The cats name was Salem, himself a witch/warlock, sentenced to spend a century as a cat. He was being punished by the witches council for misusing and abusing his powerful gifts. (I love that show!)

@Starmaiden ~ @changjiangzhibin89 ~ @LadyDuck ~ @JudyEv ~ @acelawrites ~ @arthurchappell ~ @Corbin5 ~ @sharon6345 ~ Thanks for the comments everybody. Funniest thing. Today my mouse has been behaving itself. I did check for dust and I unplugged it once. But after that it worked OK.

@cmoneyspinner Sometimes unplugging and plugging back works, may be a "bad contact".

Funny thing ! you associated your computer mouse that was going haywire with the teenage witch's black cat. However in real life, many cats don't care for catching mice now.

Cute bit of trivia. Sometimes a bit of grit gets in the mouse and hampers the movement - and the battery in mine goes flat from time to time - just in case it helps.

@cmoneyspinner My cat would not know how to fix the mouse on the computer to make sure it works. I used to watch Sabrina too. I really liked it.
