How much pressure do boys and girls to have perfect bodies.

Having a perfect body is somewhat boring, I think. Lol.

I am sure that this happens, starting by beauty contests and youngsters doing all soerts of things to look better. Although I think that grown ups are also in this race. Plastic surgeons earn a lot more than other surgeons who cure real ailments.

There is a lot of peer pressure. But by the looks of more and more children I am seeing more obesity than slim. So the normal has become to be heavy and not care.

That pressure has been on young adults, for as long as I can remember! To be exactly like the famous stars and fashion models? Little do they realize, every single one of them has imperfections:( The camera man takes photos and doctors them up, to make them appear to be perfect!

Yes there is lot of pressure , especially for girls ..my cousin sister is very concerned about it ,she don't even eat properly...

Not sure actually. I mean, I know kids get made fun of for all sorts of things. Appearance is always one of them. Luckily we all grow up and let people just be people.

some kids do get a lot of pressure from this because of the definition of beauty from different countries

I thought about it most of them time about the girls or women who really do their best to be pretty...But the boys doesn't seemed to help the girls keep that beauty. I mean once the guys gets the taste of it they just throw them out and look for another one.

I never cared what others though. I ignored them. There is a lot of pressure on some kids and that is not right.

Boys and girls in our days live a stressful life because they are so much obsessed by their face, their body the fact to look forever young.

It is a great shame that so much pressure is put on young people to have perfect bodies. It is such a shame.

Takes a lotta work 2 have perfect bodies!!! Once U get out of shape it's hard to get back!! Thinking about liposuction 4 my thighs!!! What do U think!!

Hello! I am 24, and when I was a teenager I had much stress. Even now, I have a fear to gain weight. I have always known that I am pretty and naturally have a good body shape, but I have always been worried to lose it, especially my flat tummy is a real issue for me - I am scared to lose it. Although my husband says that it is okay if I gain some weight. Now, I work with teenagers. I can say that boys are much more worried about their bodies than girls. They always discuss their body mass, height, hair, and face. Well... kind of that. Have a nice day

It's an unnecessary pressure taken by both the genders.
