My first Paulo Coelho book

I am currently reading Eleven Minutes by Coelho, which is about the story of a Brazilian prostitute called Maria.. her childhood and how she came to that profession. I actually wanted to read the Alchemist first since it was more famous and thinner, but the first few pages did not capture my interest. But I liked reading Eleven Minutes, since the story was quite simpler and understandable.. and so far I am liking this book and the musings of Marie. Have you read this one or any Coelhobook?

I've read the Alchemist. At first, it will be a bit boring but you should try reading it entirely. It's very refreshing. It has those insights for those who don't know yet where to go in their lives and when I read it, it was very timely because I was confused what career I should take. I've also read Manuscripts of Accrah and It's one of those books, I reread all the time because of the values and situations it shares, anyone can relate with the topics discussed in this book.
