Notification isn't appearing!

This is the first time again that I'm going to start a discussion! So I made a response to some of the discussions that I've read yesterday and I've noticed that I didn't get any notification so I got little bit worried maybe no one respond to my comments on those discussions, I tried to visit those discussions and I found out that I received a comment or response from them, but I didn't get any notifications even if my settings are correct.. hmm

You say that you responded to some discussions and you were expecting notifications when someone commented on those responses but the box next to "Comments on my response to someone's discussion" is UNchecked, so you cannot expect notifications of that event. As far as I can see, from the settings you have checked/unchecked, everything is as it should be.

Thank you for tagging them, I wish they can see this discussion and I noticed that this is the first time I got notified by the notification tab when you replied, I hope I'll get a notification as well when someone replied to my comments.

@hereandthere Nothing strange about it. Read the description carefully and then look at his settings. He should not expect notifications when someone comments on a response he left on someone else's discussion which is what he describes.

Yes, it's working now hehe I didn't notice that and I don't know who changed my notification settings, but it's fine, it works now

for me, i also unchecked the 'likes my discussion' but the likes still appear in my notifications.

Seems I'm not the only one who have a problem with notification then, Tried to uncheck then save, then check again those boxes that you need and save it again, it works to me yesterday

What browser are you using? It's possible that maybe there is a glitch or it has something to do with your browser or maybe your internet connection.

I'm not quite sure, I'm using latest firefox and I'm using my newly bought laptop and I didn't think that it is because of my internet since I have 25mbps download speed of internet connection.

Yeah...This has ever happened to me...You refresh your page again.Also clear history in browser and also clear catche...Also open in different browser.If not worked, ask admin.I hope it helps

Yup I wish admin can check what's happening, but it seems working fine now on me, I'm now able to receive notifications if someone responds or mentioned me, yay!

It is still safe to check notifications manually once in awhile.

But the notification isn't appearing on my end, I decided to check my recent response to a different discussion and found out that someone already responds to my comment but I didn't get any notification.
