Still hot and humid here

I love summer and I am not one to complain about the heat but I sure would welcome a cooler day. Nothing cold just a nice day without the humidity. We don't have air conditioning at work so it gets pretty hot and sticky through the day. Having the windows opened does nothing. There is no relief in site.
Not much going on here with me...just the usual working all week and counting down the days until Friday! I haven't even been doing my usually walking because my ole heart just can't handle this humidity.

It's pretty hot and humid today here too. I think we're up to 110 with the heat index. It started clouding up so it might rain later..

Its a little over 100 here with the heat index. Way too warm for what we are use to.

@thislittlepennyearns It should have started the 1st of the month but it has been an unusually hotand humid summer here this year. By the end of the month it should start to cool down a bit as Fall gets closer.

The kids started school today - and it seems like we are finally getting a small break from the super heat - at least for this morning (it'll probably be "up there" again by afternoon). I would love the rain that some of these folks on myLot are getting!!

We keep saying summer has been wonderful so far-Well! The truth is when we went to Kansas to see a sick friend, it was 112 one day.
One day in Florida it was 108 degrees.
The highest we know of in NC where we are now was 102.
It is just hot in most places and there are not too many places to hide!
