where did time go

Hello everyone. I can not. Really can not. First, I can not mylot a lot as much as I want to because I am helping my daughter with her math home work.

Second, I can not understand where did the time go and why the math questions in my daughter's homework seems an alien to me.

Third, I can not find some helpful resources online.

Fourth, I simply can not lose my mind on this.

I hope you are doing all fine and having a good day. For those who are very good in math, maybe you can help me.....

I can relate. I have never been good at math . . . and now I hate the way they teach math. In most cases though I can find something online to help me to help my kids . . . but still I hate math!

I hate some topics, but not all. But now, the teaching and scope of topics are really advance.

@rakski Some of it is advanced, but some of the ways they teach math to younger kids is lame

. It takes too long to get to the answer and it's actually more confusing - for the kids - AND me!!

@much2say aw. some, yes. And yes, they really have a different way of solving now. much quicker (not minding our old version of long way) but really confusing.

haha i like maths and maths is the only subject where i never worry that exam is today or tomorrow. i also not spend more time here because of work but check sometimes. hope you are enjoying maths. have a nice day.

They seem to tackle maths differently nowadays as to when I was at school. What we called long division is certainly done differently.
