Pain Patches

United States
August 15, 2018 5:41am CST
Last night, as I was watching tv, I noticed my back began to hurt, like it was tensing up. So I finished watching my show and went to bed. But it was hurting more. I had already taken the pain medication but it wasn't helping at all. Then I recalled I had some pain patches in my bag. I used two of them on each side of my back. In a while I could feel the pressure easing off. Happy to have had them with me.

It is nice to have a back-up when other medication won't work.

Are pain patches the same as heat pads? Sorry you needed them.

No, they are small patches with pain relieving medicine on them.

when we have muscle sprains. there is a patch that can be applied in the skin. it makes the skin warm because of some eucalyptus content.

Yes, they do. I would have been in serious trouble had I not had them.

Maybe the medication help also because most of the medication takes time to effect.

It's possible, but I had taken the pills earlier, and went to bed, I knew I had to get up and use those patches.
