Things I Would Not Eat

We have all talked about foods we would not eat, but what if you could not get food from the market? What if you had to hunt your food? What would I not eat? Rats. There is no way in hell I would eat one of those nasty beady eyes little critters. Snake. I am sorry but that is another nasty I would not eat. Hunting food can be vegetables too. So that is the path I would take, food that grows wild. What about you, what would you NOT eat?

Fried rattlesnake is good. I bet if you tried some and didn't know what it was you'd like it.

I really am not sure as if you get hungry enough anything could look like food.

Very true, there are exceptional cases and instances, even humans could turn cannibalistic

I will never eat rats too. I had tasted a large constrictor though a long time ago before it was banned, it's a delicacy here especially in the rural areas, tastes like chicken lol. Other things I would not eat are birds of prey like eagles and hawks, those from the cat family big or small and lastly I think scavengers like vultures and hyenas

I won't mind eating rats if it's a field rat and not a city rat.

Surely not snakes and rats and not even cockroaches or worms (they seem to be popular now). I think I would hunt for wild berries and fruits.

@andriaperry Venison does have a little more cholesterol than beef but it is still better for you than beef. It actually lowers your LDL cholesterol and raises your HDL.

Never say never, but rats are not on my list of edibles. I would eat snake if someone killed, cleaned and cooked it. Mice? No. Neither could I eat cockroaches or June bugs, but grasshoppers would be okay, if someone else would prepare them. This is just if I was very hungry and couldn't get anything else. Eating only vegetables sounds good, but they would become scarce in a hurry if there was no other source of food.

If I had to live off the land I would become a vegetarian. I do not want to kill things to eat. Worms I would not eat, even though they are 98% protein. Not really wanting to crunch crickets, either. Forget the entire buggy world.

I could live on most things that grow from the ground. I do not like most meats and can live on peanut butter and jelly instead of a good steak. I would not eat any rodents or most animals.

@ramapo17 I once was a very strict veg head for years and years and this week I start back, I am giving up chicken again, My doctor insists I lose the last 20 pounds so I know this is the right thing to do.
