Observation while at the grocery store

There were several women at the store using those mobility scooters. These women were not elderly by any stretch of the imagination. They were, however, very large.
What did they have in their carts? Bottles of full-sugar soda, cakes from the bakery, frozen pizzas, frozen dinners, just every kind of junk you could think of. . . it was in there. Not a single fresh vegetable to be seen. It was ridiculous.
Gee, I wonder why they are so obese that they can't manage to walk around the grocery store on their own two legs?

Well, I can't say they're lazy because they actively go shopping for groceries.
But I can say they're lazy because they don't want to cook their own meals.
If they could get their bags sent at home and spend the effort into some cooking wouldn't be bad.
At the same time, I understand they might be depressed and unwilling to take care of their health.
There's that "I give up" phase until something happens, if it happens.
In the meanwhile, old habits die hard.

@NJChicaa They are the same ones who will drive around a parking lot for 30 minutes for a parking place on top of the door instead of just parking and walking.

@NJChicaa If that's how they chose to live their life, it's their choice. They won't change unless they want to.

I know some big people who have problems in walking like can't walk easily because of their heavy weight, just thinking maybe that could be the possible reason why they're using scooters.

Every fat man has his reasons, especially his eating habits. Once I went to the bakery and saw a very fat woman carrying a large bag full of all kinds of cakes and bread. In a moment I understood why she was so fat.
