Chair Lift

The Western Idaho State Fair is starting tomorrow. There is a new chair lift that was built this year. It takes you over the fair from one end to the other. I used to enjoy the fair so much. Even travelled with it a couple of years. I just loved the whole atmosphere. My favorite food was the tacos one of the places made. And, of course, Party pups with lots of mustard. I don't like the rides. While I was traveling with the fair and was in some big cities there were several horrible accidents. I won't ride them any more.

That chair lift must be very popular. It will be very convenient.

I've been to county fairs, but never the state fair. I love these big fairs too - we go nearly every year (ours is usually in September). I used to love rides, but I don't trust carnival type rides anymore. I have heard too many horror stories and even seen them caught on video . . . we let the kids ride on the smaller rides - but other than that we don't go on them!

The smaller ones are much safer.

When younger I have taken those giant wheel rides but now I have lost interest. I have gone on that speed test though which was pretty harrowing

OMG! I haven't been to a State Fair since my teens (in the Ice Age ) in New Jersey--it was a heartbreaking night (way too long to go into) and I haven't been to one since--that was like 65 years ago.

Back in "the Ice Age" things didn't cost so much.

Since Anne does not enjoy fairs, we have not been for years.

Yes I do love the carnivals/fairs atmosphere but only a few rides I will go on. I liked the fried dough you could get and brandy snaps.

I only like to walk around the fair. I do not like riding any rides anymore.

I've never been to the state fair here, but I have been to the county fair, and that should be happening soon if it isn't already.

It's like a ski lift.
