Leftovers On The Road

So, from time to time I DO in fact have leftovers when I am on the road traveling. For those who want to know, tonight I am in Mauston, Wisconsin.
The thing is, sometimes I order too much food. Be it pizza or something else. Sometimes I just think I want more than I actually do. Sometimes I actually have some of it for lunch on the road the next day.
But other times I just have it for dinner.
So, on day one of the trip I stopped at a Wendy's to have some lunch so I could take my blood pressure pill. I ordered two double stacks but only ate one of them.
I still have it now.
Then last night I of course ate at Culver's and had a mushroom and swiss burger and a side of fried cheese curds.
I bought two mushroom and swiss burgers actually and did not eat the second one.
I really had no lunch today. Just got myself a Jack Link's Teriyaki beef stick and took my pill with that.
So now I have a Wendy's double stack and a Culver's mushroom and swiss burger left.
That will be dinner tonight.
By the way, just in case anyone was curious, I DO travel with a cooler.

@porwest still. You are on the road a lot. And most of those places have healthier options. Grilled chicken, salads, chili .

Yes many times we are ones who will go out of way and order more than enough so we have left overs for dinner or the next day for lunch, etc. Pizza is always a Good one.

You have blood pressure issues and this is what your eating!!! You know how much salt is in that food right? If you stopped eating that you won't have to take the pills lol

@porwest ~I use specials like 2 for $5 at McDonald's and eat one now and one for later when I am traveling and even when I'm at home.

Are you a trucker?
I'm guessing you have a fridge set up or some place to keep the food sustainable?

It's good you do travel with a cooler in this heat, or you wouldn't have leftovers.
