I don't know how many of you remember a short-lived series called The Monroes. It was about a family of orphaned children who lost their parents in the first episode and had to learn to live on the frontier, making their home near Jackson, Wyoming.
Though this series only lasted one year, being up against some stiff competition, it still produced a now well-known actress, Barbara Hershey, who has gone on to play many roles since this series.
I remember watching every episode of this short-lived season, and was sorry to see it go.
Cast included:
Michael Anderson Jr.
Barbara Hershey
Keith Schultz
Keven Schultz
Tammy Locke
Though it only had one season, 26 episodes, both Michael Anderson Jr. and Barbara Hershey won American Heritage awards for the series.

I don't recall the series and I probably didn't have a TV at that time.

Yes, I did watch The Monroes and it was a good show. I crushed on Barbara Hershey.

I don't recall this series. I was probably too young to remember it.
