What to do stabilize your mind

Sometimes human deing thinks a lot and in different directions. Because of that his mind will not be stable and concentration will also loose. Same thing is happening to me, i am rhinking about my appraisal, my marathon run next sunday, my mother health, about my kid and many other things. Due to that my mind is not stable. And i am not getting good sleep. Also not able to concentrate about my work due to same. So, is there any way you can suggest to me which will help me in improving my mind stability

I know what you mean, I am going through a difficult time and I sleep only a few hours per night.

Don't think too much at one time. Think about the most important thing first. Then think about something less important. Because you can't do everything well at the same time.

Yeah, I know. But, sometimes you dont have control on everything. Even when I am trying to sleep then also so many thoughts are coming at the same time, due to that I am also not getting good sleep

@saurabhrmp The first thing you need to do is to make a plan. Everything you want to settle is included in the plan. Then go ahead as planned and make progress every day.

As many suggested already here, prayers/meditation/spirituality is the best methods to control your mind. Select the best method to follow this according to your belief and custom.

Chanting The Lotus Sutra all day---not 'the whole sutra,' but just the six-syllable gong yo (or gosho or go hon or whatever): Nam-Myo-ho-Ren-ge-Kyo (over-&-over-&-over-&-etc.) Like 'Love thy neighbor as thy self' is the sum-total of all the commandments for Christians, 'those six syllables' are the sum-total of all the Buddhist 'Sutras' (long lectures on the right way to live, given by Buddha from the peak of Eagle Mountain). If you think it's important for 'the words you chant' to have meaning, you can use this site to work out 'what it means to you' 'What it means to me' is "Wisdom calls my name, tells me what she thinks should happen, I understand that; but the world goes on in it's way no matter what she thinks, so I have to react to the world first. But both actions (my reaction to the world AND my attempt to make it the way Wisdom wants it) bring about what needs to happen.'

We must first be physically healthy and then work on our mind. For our mental health, I suggest to try to have friends and hangout with them.

I think prioritize the thing that you want to do. We are not super humans, we get tired and stress. And stressing too much can take a toll on our health.
