I've finally been to a Dollar Tree!

I went out this morning to get more semi-gloss paint. Right next to the Home Depot there was a Dollar Tree. I was psyched because I've never been to one before so I figured I'd stop in after I bought the paint. Well, it turns out that it is "coming soon". Still, I knew of another one not far away and I had time to kill so I decided to stop at that one. It was a pretty cool store and it had everything you could imagine from food to kitchen supplies to marijuana test kits. I bought some muscle ache epsom salts, some bath bombs, and a bath mesh sponge for $8.27. I don't see Dollar Tree being in my regular rotation of stores only because I'm not a big "shopper". I go to the grocery store regularly and that is about it. I would probably go to the one next to the Home Depot while my husband was doing his shopping in HD to pass the time when that location opens. But, as far as going out of my way to go there, probably not.

I don't really go to the dollar tree either, but I have in the past for wrapping paper, gift bags, or cheap aluminum tins for bringing things in. There's a dollar store in the mall, not a dollar tree but everything is $1.00. It's a really fun place to go into if only to see what crazy things are there.

@NJChicaa Right. You can get a lot of good stuff there just depends on what you are going for. Good craft stuff and you can get birthday cards anniversary cards and wedding cards and even balloons.

I went into a Dollar Tree last year when I was looking for Christmas cards. I only go to Dollar General, the grocery store, and Walmart.

I buy paint drop clothes, paint brushes and cheap rollers and pans. Gift bags sometimes, but I do but the fake flowers for grave decoration. The stuff is cheap made and won`t last, so you get what you pay for.

At any Dollar Store you get what you pay for. I used to buy batteries at the dollar store and they only lasted 30 minutes. When I shop there now it's usually for coffee, cream and other food necessities that the grocery store charges a killing for.
