Late Start Today

Last night there was spectacular lightning and hail on the roof for an extended period. It rained a lot. I finally fell asleep when the lightning stopped but got up late.
When I woke, I thought I was struck on the head by the fireworks. My head did not explode but felt like it could.
Now I am in my happy place here with you. How was your night?

I woke up early, at 6 am after not going to sleep until after midnight but I do feel like I got a pretty good night's sleep.

@akalinus I have restless nights and some short nights but no, I always sleep even if just for 4 hours.

@BelleStarr One night recently, I could not sleep the whole night. I was really tired the next day.

@JohnRoberts I know that feeling. It runs the electric up beyond my budget but I run it for a couple of hours at a time when it is hottest. I run a fan at night. It is a big window type fan sitting on a small table near the bed and there is another near the desk.

My night was cool and dry. Slept better than I had in weeks. Today I am happy with mylot and a Belgian chocolate bar.

@Starmaiden I should go out and buy some chocolate but would eat the whole thing. I can only eat tiny bits at a time because of the sugar content.
