After my parents left this afternoon I came to our usual hangout for a late lunch. I brought my favorite bartender a jar of garlic dill pickles and the chocolate chip gelato. She is 6 months pregnant so it is ironic that I brought her pickles and ice cream.
She eagerly dove into the gelato and couldn’t stop eating it. She loved it. The served tried it and he enjoyed it too. The bartender even brought a huge spoonful back to the kitchen for the executive chef to try. (no pressure) The chef liked it and he, in turn, brought me a small piece of pineapple upside down cake (tonight’s special dessert) to try.
I’m glad to get that stuff out of my house! It is soooo good. I would have eaten it all!
