Rained Already Twice This Afternoon

It has already rained twice today and thundered too. And it has done nothing to get rid of the humidity. It is getting old!
I can't believe that we wait for a whole year to get some decent weather and we end up with such misery all the time.
So far, I think that we did not even get 7 decent summer days around here.
I am hoping that next week will be more clement.

Yup this summer hasn't been ideal. I'm hoping we get some decent weather before Fall arrives

It has been a very rainy summer here as well, usually at this time in August the grass is all dry and yellow not lush and green!!

Good for you that you are only talking about days of hot summer days. In my country we would endure 2 months of very hot and dry and at times humid days. No strong rains would ever visit us to cool us down. After that 2 months then we are into rainy days that means very wet season that we have to endure floods and very soggy days.

@marlina we’re thinking of it from time to time but of course the cost of moving from one country to another is a big consideration. My son is about to finish his high school too. We wouldn’t want to disrupt his school too.
I’ve been to NY and loved the climate in springtime it’s very constant and seldom does the weather change drastically.

We had flash flood warnings all night long in our area last night. It is supposed to rain again this evening as well.

We are desperately Woodie good rains here. The southern Indian got heavy rains which resulted in floods and the northern India has not recieved the optimal rain this season.
