My Friday Into Saturday Post....

I mean, technically it's a Saturday post, as it's midnight on my end, but oh well...... who cares lol? I actually wasn't going to post today, but I decided to do so anyways. I was so tired when I got up today, but that's because I was up late last night. But once I fell asleep, I slept for several hours. I wasn't planning to nap or anything, but I did have some cuddle time on the couch with our smallest dog. Once the dog ditched me lol, I made a pizza for several of us to eat, made my coffee and watched an episode of Goosebumps (the show) with my little niece. My plan was to work and watch Goosebumps, as I grew up on the show, so it wouldn't really be a distraction. Butttttt, my best friend asked if I wanted to go out, and I did need to get more coffee, so I said yes. We went to TJ Maxx for no reason lol. I don't think either of us have actually been in there before, but I'd consider going back once after another payday. When we were finished, we walked over to 5 Below since it was on the same block. I didn't buy anything from either store, but I didn't mind browsing. We were gonna go to Party City, but decided not to, so we just headed to Walmart. Ugh, it was hot in Walmart, and the customer service line wasn't moving. It finally started moving several minutes later, and I was able to exchange my white cami to the right size (I do the layered look with my V-necks, so I needed a new white spaghetti strap, and this one was $1.68). I also got one in black to sleep in, plus an off-brand Dramamine because I was out. I got car sick on the way to Brooklyn, New York for WWE SummerSlam three years ago, and I seem to be more susceptible to it now (well, since then). I always joke that it's the trip that "broke me" lol. After Walmart, we headed to the Dollar Tree because I needed to refill my glass coffee canister, and I didn't feel like paying $4-$6 to do so, at least not this week. So I grabbed a coffee, pack of beef Ramen noodles and a drink. I was careful to not overspend at all while shopping tonight. I knew I wasn't gonna work when I got home. I was still feeling slightly icky from earlier (but better for the most part), and I knew I'd be too tired to focus. The order isn't due for a few days, so I'm gonna work on it tomorrow (well, Saturday, so technically today). I decided to put up my third Fiverr gig instead, and post in here, so I could still do something productive. I also watched Lady Bird as I worked on my gig (creating and posting a gig is not a two-minute thing, at least not for me). I really like that movie. :) I've only watched it three times because I don't wanna drive anyone nuts. I'll probably buy it on DVD once Amazon Prime removes it. Oh yeah, Amazon Prime removed the NKOTBSB concert from London (from years ago), but luckily it's on YouTube, so it's not a big deal to me lol. I did remove it from the watchlist on the Fire TV though. In addition to working on that order (and hopefully others), I'm going to see if my niece wants to continue watching Goosebumps. Sometimes I switch my writing/off days, i.e., taking off Friday and working on Saturday. And here I am, about to wrap this post up. I hope you all have a great weekend. I have no idea how often I'm going to be on this weekend, but either way, I'll catch you all later. Take care. :) Photo Credit: Pixabay.

I thought of you when I saw it was Donnie Wahlberg's birthday yesterday or the day before. You had a good day with your shopping. Too bad about Wal-Mart being hot and the customer service being slow.

Aw. :) Yeah I tweeted him and updated my fan page. He got A LOT of love that day, but he gets what he sends out daily. Thank you so much. Yeah it finally started moving (obviously lol), but man, I was getting irritated. They did their best, it wasn't their fault, I was just hot. Once I got up there, everything went smoothly.

I haven't watched the movie yet, but I've seen a lot of the episodes of the original TV series from the '90s. I used to watch it after school, and read the books. That love has been passed down to my nieces.

Sometimes you just need to sleep in. I don't think I've ever been in there before, but I'd like to go back when I have more money to spend on myself.

It's good to take a break, yet still be productive. Never seen the goosebumps .. Glad you could switch tanks, and get everything else you wanted while out.

Very true. :) The TV show? It's on Netflix. I haven't seen all the episodes, and I grew up with it lol. I haven't seen the movie straight through yet, but we do own it. Thank you! :)

Our WalMart doesn't ever spend money, to keep their store cool:( Is Fiverr a good writing site to work for?

Oh man. It's not good to have a store that crowded feel so hot. I don't know what happened at ours. I'm guessing the a/c wasn't working. Fiverr can be good if you put the work into it, with creating gigs, promoting them, working with clients (but knowing when to say "no"), etc.
