Got my first cut of $$ from my Poshmark sales

I've given my sister several bags of clothes to sell on her Poshmark page. She's done really well with it and has something like over 14,000 followers now. I could make my own page and do it myself but I know that I wouldn't be diligent about getting to the post office to mail things out in a timely manner, so I decided to let her do it and told her that she could keep 50% of whatever she made selling my stuff. Today after the gym she gave me $14. That means that the 4 sweaters that sold earned over $30. Poshmark takes a cut from each sale made. She got $28 in the end and then half of that was given to me. Hey, I'll take it for stuff that was just going to go in the garbage. Apparently summer is the slow season for Poshmark from what she has read. We are expecting it to pick up in the fall with back-to-school and the colder weather hitting. I'll try not to spend my $14 all in one place.

This is a good way to deal with old things. My old things are thrown away. That means a lot of money has been thrown away.

Wish I had known about this site especially when for me every penny counts. I would have packed up all of my old and in-between clothes from Latvia and when they arrived I could have made some dough SIGH

I agree. I figure I'll just let it accumulate. The pottery I like is still pretty expensive so I'll use it for that.
