The whole gang is coming to make the kitchen great again

I got a text from my mother while I was working out at the gym this morning. She said that "we will all be there on Monday morning to make the kitchen great again." This is a reference to her love of Donald Trump. There will be 5 adults in my kitchen trying to get it on its way. This is a recipe for disaster. I don't think day-drinking is an option in the presence of my parents so I may have to resort to other options. Hopefully, by the end of the afternoon, the kitchen cabinets will be painted and this whole parental attempt at making up for ignoring us for years will be over. Oh, and the kitchen will kind of be great again.

At least you will have freshly painted cabinets. I miss my mommy tremendously.

@NJChicaa It must be terrible to have a mother who loves Trump.

My mother is a very difficult woman. It is tough being around her, especially now that she loves Trump. But if she, my dad, and their best friends want to paint all of the cabinets on Monday. . . far be it from me to interfere from that plan. Let them "make the kitchen great again".

Well, good luck to you and I hope it all comes out great. Perhaps a photo of the new look?

Yes it always is. I'm ready for it to be over though. My anxiety can't take too much more close proximity with my mother for a long time!
