It is nice to see many new members joining myLot. At the same time there are several oldies who have vanished. Hope they will return as there is no place like myLot anywhere on the Net.
Some newbies have yet to grasp the working of the site as they are under the impression they get paid for what they write. Hope they will go to the 'help' section and read all that is there.

This site is more for making friends and having fun and one earns while having fun and that is what they do not know

@allknowing That's true but I think in some poor countries even the little bit we earn here helps make a difference.

@allknowing You are right, when I joined I have spent a bit of time to go through the guidelines, the rules and even the Terms of Service. I know that I missed to reply to some comments in the beginning, only because I had not well understood how the cumulative notifications worked. Now I know.

I see a lot of newbies here and I hope they will figure what is supposed to happen and stick around for a while. I'm guessing they might be here for money until they realize how hard and how long it takes to make money. I learned long ago that making money means get a job or use your talent.

Oh true, I noticed a lot of newbies here everyday. It is nice to see we are growing but some opted the other way. I, myself, went chilling relax mode when I was busy with my part time job. But now, it got me thinking if I should not have, then I will have extra more income.

I have a feeling that some newbies think they can really make money here and fast and then get disappointed when they find out they have to work for it. I think any newbie should stay around and see how much fun it is to share ideas and stories and comment and make friends.

I think they should first go through what is in store for them before registering It is natural for those wanting to earn fast to look for sites that help them do that.
