Hi mylotters. In few days, lord Ganesh statues will come at people's homes and on streets in different areas, a stage is made and in that Ganesha statue is kept with different themes every year. Many people makes eco friendly statues so that environment doesn't get polluted. Some use to make plaster of Paris statues. Nowadays, due to government ban on plastic, more eco friendly statues will be made. This festival is celebrated across India for 11 days. For 11 days prayers are done in morning and evening. Lot of people residing in different areas visit different pandals i.e. stage set in different areas. It's a very important festival of India celebrated by all communities residing in India.
