It's noon here and today after lunch I sliced the pomegranate that I got yesterday. It is sweet to taste. Do you eat pomegranate? Do you eat it as it is or do you make juice? Image:Wikipedia

i've bought the juice and liked it. i thought they weren't available in my country. but mother remembers it from her childhood in the province and that they called it granada (grenade), although she remembers they were yellow/green in color.

I had my first taste of it in NY. I was on vacation at that time and my sister bought me one so that I could taste the real fruit. I It tasted good but the only thing that holds me back is the numerous seed pods I have to slowly chew to get the juice out from it. It is kind of annoying but it tasted good. My sister said I could swallow the seeds if I wanted to. But I did not. Another thing to take on this fruit is the juice can stain your shirt so be sure to get a colored shirt that will not stain it that much.

Actually, no. I don't think they're available in my country. Or at least I haven't seen any in the markets or groceries. I have seen a lot of videos on youtube, though, about how to open them or whatever. :P I don't even know what part is being eaten...

@Sojourn yeah.. Juices are good when stomach is not able to digest fruits well. Otherwise eating raw fruits are more beneficial

I eat pomegranate rarely. Actually, i don't like its taste. Besides, due to innumerable seeds, eating it is time-consuming.

It seems that pomegranate is a healthy fruit. However, I don't eat it. Since it is troublesome for me to eat it and this fruit is not so sweet and juicy. It is not the type of fruit that I like.

Even if it is peeled and given to me I will not have it. I find it cumbersome with those hard seeds
