When we say take a bath, it's deep clean kind of bath when you wash your hair and scrub your body to exfoliate. Some considers it as OC but it's common to summer-all-year countries.

Taking a bath everyday is a must in our hot and humid country. If you skip just one day it feel so uncomfortable anymore and I think you would start to smell already. But doing a deep cleansing like exfoliating and many extra activities during bath I do not do often. I may be doing that once a month or sometimes longer if I do not feel the need to.

My mom used to have a special rule at home than when it's pretty cold because of a typhoon, taking a bath is a no-no. Exfoliating is like using loofah or smooth stones to scrub your skin.

@moichan Oh that is an exception of course when typhoon or strong rains come and you do not sweat that much then you would not feel like taking a bath of course. But that is not a rule for us, We can take a bath if we feel like taking a bath on a cool and rainy day. Exfoliating is not a need for me daily. I do it once in a while especially when I travelled long distances and exposed to the elements for a long period of time. But on a daily basis I do not.

@rsa101 oh okay. Maybe your using a good brand of soap. I really can't resist not using my shower scrub everyday.

Generally yes, every day but there are times when I skip showering or taking a bath but just for a day (24 h) maximum if I don't consider it to be an absolute necessity that time.

Good point! I almost forgot. I skipped bathing for a week after my surgery. I can barely move. It felt like my half lower body will be torn off if I stand up.

I take a shower twice a day but I take a bath, usually a bubble bath once or twice a month only. Or when I'm just in the mood to prepare the tub for that long relaxing bath.

I take a bath everyday, just the shampoo your hair, soap your body with hand loofah or something else routine. None of those exfoliating, longer time taking rituals etcetera which I don't do on a daily basis.
