Now he pretends to care...

Hello my friends. A while ago I made a post about the fact that the boss that I was working for at that time was / is rude and delays the payment of the salary. But I said "ok, it is not a huge deal that he delays the payment of the salary, at least let's hope that he will do me this other favor" but when I asked him to do me that other "favor" he refused to do that too. Two weeks ago though he was informed that I quit working for him and he said that I should stay all 20 working days before he lets me go. I wanted him to let me go faster than 20 working days but I said "ok, I shall wait and give him the 20 working days he wants". But today he tried to convince me to remain to work for him by telling me that he will offer me what I asked him back then. I told him that I don't accept his proposition and he understood. But what bothers me is that now he pretends to care. Why didn't he care until today? Sometimes it's too late in life. If you don't appreciate your worker when you should, then he / she will leave no matter if you regret it later and try to offer him / her what he / she wanted.

It sounds like your boss is inconsistent. Honestly, I cannot work if the boss had delayed my salary.

And as I said, it is not just the fact that he delays the salary but there are other aspects as well.

@Cristi_Ichim If there are other things, then I still need to move out with this kind of job. I am sorry. I just can't stay in such a situation.

I don't think your boss is a kind man. A good boss will keep a good relationship with the employees.

I bet he feels you are a good worker and he doesn't want to lose you. He thinks if he pretends to care you might stay.

Your Boss thought that you did not dare to quit the job, so he felt in his right to be arrogant. Now he understands that he was abusive.

You should not work for such a boss. Who know he won't fire you soon after convincing you to stay?

Did he always delay the salary?

Yes, I have been working for him for about 5 months now and every month he delayed the salary. And as far as I know from the people that have been working for him for about 3 or more years, he never gave them the salary on the date which they should have been given but always have been delayed every month of every year.
