Is God everywhere?

God is everywhere. That's my belief. I just don't understand why a lot of people are claiming that one saint or one church is better than another. "Go to this Church because the Saint there is powerful" or "Go to this church because it is miraculous". Do you believe in such a thing? Is God everywhere or God has chosen a special place?

God is everywhere, a church is just a building and a building cannot be powerful or so anything special because its simply a building. However, God is everywhere and when you pray and honor God that is power!

True. God is everywhere. We can pray to God anywhere. We just need pure faith and the place does not matter at all

God is everywhere and His Spirit is in all churches that are steadfast in their faith and keep God's word. Jesus said "where two or more in my name I am there also" but I do believe that some churches are better (for the lack of a better word) than others. But you have to remember that the "church" the Lord speaks about is not the building, but the people (its congregation). I have been to churches where I did not feel the Spirit of the Lord in it and I have been to churches where the Spirit of the Lord was very strong. I think this due to how the "church" conducts its business. I think it is similar to the seven churches in Asia that God passes judgement on. Revelations chapter 2 and chapter 3 talks about all seven churches and what God finds displeasing about all of them. The only church that God favored was the church of Philadelphia. That was the only church out of the seven that was steadfast in its faith, kept God's word and remained patient. I think some churches of today fall under one of the descriptions of the other 6 and that is why the Spirit is stronger in some churches than in others.
As many others have said...the place don't matter it is what rests in the hearts of the people.

That's quite interesting. All I know is that God is everywhere and hopefully His justice will be observes after this life.

I strongly believe that God is omnipresent and I don't need to fear him or seek him elsewhere. He is within me and in everything around me.
