You're arrested...

For the crime of taking pictures from this camp! I know, I know it's not illegal to take pictures of a flower unless you break into someone's house or trespass a private property in doing so, like what happened to Belle's father in Beauty and the Beast. But this afternoon, I took this flower from the police camp. I was there to process my License to Possess Firearms. And this lovely tiny flower caught my attention. Though I wasn't apprehended nor reprimanded for doing so, I've been told I might be caught coz no picture taking is allowed inside the camp. Well, I wasn't caught though and I took more than one photo actually. Is there such a prohibition in your place? No taking of pictures of flowers?

I think there is, in some mall stores. You are not allowed to wear and take photos of them.

Because they're for sale and there are online shops who would do that and post it as if they're their own produce when they're not.

Did you process it at Camp Crame? Or is it possible to process it at any major camp in the your province?

Can you imagine if they require everyone to spend tons of money just to go to crame? I think nobody would press their license then. Of course you can go to any camp available all over this country and they forward everything to crame. The main approval is in crame but thank goodness everything is now online and they don't have to use the snail mail.

@louievill I talked to the licensing yesterday and they told me the online rule only started this year. Not last year. Last year they had to manually send everything to crame.

@toniganzon actually before martiial rule, any constabulary( PC) provicial commander could renew licences and even a permit to carry by issuing special mission orders to civilians. Come martial law everything had to be processed in Crame, well after people's power. The reason I asked is because Im from the Metropolis and had always processed mine personally or pay somebody to do it. I was not familiar how people in the provinces do it, I searched that it was only in 2017 where online registration was made possible. Yes new tech would help decongest everything.

That is certainly a beautiful flower. Most hospitals do not allow picture taking these days. I think it is because of malpractice suits.

@toniganzon Oh no, sorry for the confusion. It is more like during procedures or labor. Most hospitals will not allow you to film while giving birth anymore. We were told that we could take pictures of the babies after they were born but no filming or picture taking was allowed during the labor and delivery. They said it was due to insurance restrictions. To me it says that if they mess up they don't want it on camera.

But if you take a picture of a flower inside the hospital, is it forbidden too?

@DianneN Oh and you weren't even aware of it. I remember when me and my friend visited a casino. We knew for a fact that we shouldn't take pictures inside any of the casinos. But this one is new and we got too excited we took our phones out and started taking selfies. But the security was very polite. He just told us it's prohibited and we weren't even told to delete the photos.

@toniganzon We can’t take it from outside either. I got yelled at in London while taking photos in a park in front of our hotel by a guard. The embassy was next door. Sheesh!

Actually, some people take photos for unlawful reasons. Your photo was for the beauty of this flower.

Yeah I know there are a lot who take photos for unlawful reason. But is it unlawful to take pictures of a flower in any part of this world? That is without trespassing though.

@toniganzon My friend tried to take photos of residents she met, at a nursing home. The Administration said, 'Absolutely not!'

I think they wouldn't mind even if they saw me. I was taking macro shots of the flower so no harm done to the camp
