what was your favorite Christmas tradition when you were little?

Dad always broke out the chocolates on Christmas day, he would litterly have 8-10 candy bowls of different chocolate treats laid out in the living room of our house on Christmas morning. I can remember that to this day, as a kid it's awesome to have all that chocolate, as a parent now I don't know what he was thinking allowing us to have free rain on that much chocolate on a day that was already exciting.

My favorite Christmas tradition growing up was making the ginerbread house, I still do it infact...it's fun:)

Every christmas eve my grandparents and mom and dad and my sister and brother and myself would go over to my grandmother's sister's house for dinner and to exchange gifts and we always stayed there until around 10pm and then we would go to my house. then my grandmother would walk to the christmas tree and pull out 3 presents. one for my sister and one for my brother and one for me. it was just one out of the bunch that she used to buy for us kids. we then would take turns tearing into the presents and ohhhhh and ahhhhhhh over what she got us. it's something that we still kinda do to this day only we got to my mother's house and exchange all of our gifts on christmas eve. That's when we have our christmas there because us kids take our children to the in-laws on christmas day. My mother likes it that way. after all is done myself and my sister end up at my mother's at some time during christmas. so it all works out.

we did the same thing and i did it that way with my kids,some things never change
