I just came up with this idea for MyLot.
@GoAskAlice
Would it be possible to post links in our discussions to Amazon products?
Of course, it would have to be included with some good content.
And there should be a limit in how many could be posted.
We did that on Squidoo and that allowed us to make some extra money.
So, what do you think @GoAskAlice

I guess that would be similar to the Affiliate links on some sites like Hub Pages which Squidoo is now part of.

I like the idea as well, but I doubt they would go for it. I think, unfortunately, while some of us would post honest reviews, others would not and that would just make for a bad situation and lots of extra work for admin to determine what is legit and what is not.

Do you mean affiliate links (but to products)? I assume that's what you mean by making extra money. I wouldn't mind that either way, simply because we could come up with posts and then add the link in, so it'd be good for post ideas even if we can't include affiliate links. I mean, we can do that now without the links, but I still like the idea. :)
My Amazon Affiliates doesn't really see any action, but to be fair, I rarely put in the effort these days.
