Horror Movies' Scenes are So Predictable

I like to watch horror movies and have seen TONS of them. Now i even feel like i can direct one myself :) They are all about camera tricks and background music.
Many of them have so much common that I can even predict what will happen next. Let me write some examples.
1) Ghost is seen in the mirror standing behind the mirror.
2) When you get separated from the group, you die.
3) There is always a cat or any other animal below the bed, not ghost.
4) The most rude MUST die in the movie.
5) The most innocent person survives in the end.
Do you think/feel too that horror movies are too predictable? You have any example to share?

Well horror movies scares when you least expect it. And then my heart skips a beat lol. Have you seen A Quiet Place? It is not a horror but a thriller. You will find it's concept is unique.

I have not seen that but i have seen others like sinister, rec, wrong turn, hostel and many others. They are fun to watch

@sw8sincere We are going to watch Sinister 2 tomorrow. I'm expecting the same plot. It is still fun though because I watch it with family and the kids.

Oh yes, person fights who or what ever is after them, they knock the evil one or thing out, then try to pass, it never fells as their passing they are grabbed by the leg. Another one, stupid person finds a real good hiding place were they would never be found, thinks the coast is clear, leaves the hiding place just to be chased again. And better yet, the car will never crank, or stalls out.

@sw8sincere Oh yes, just like jason on Friday the 13th , he walks. they run,but he is always were they end up at! lol

I'm a horror fan as well, and I agree that there are a lot of predictable moments in horror movies. I enjoy the ones that are least predictable most!
What I get annoyed at in some horror movies is when the characters behave so stupid. Like when they run upstairs instead of outside of the house to get away from the killer.
