Do you cook for the week?

Lately I have been cooking for the week, mainly with the idea of eating the food that has been for a longer time at the freezer. I have been told that if you cook the raw meat that you have in your deep freeze, you can keep it a while more. But in my case, I think that I will do it to clean up the deep freeze and start over again. I have already found out a lot of nice food that I had forgotten I had. I´ll start by eating some fish. I bought it frozen, but it has been there for over a month. Do you cook batches to use during the week.? I don´t usually, but this is the moment to do it.

I prefer to cook every day, there are only a few things that I cook and I freeze, because it's not worth making only two portions.

I´m doing this now because I will have to go out a lot at lunch time during the next weeks. And I also want to use some of what I have in the deep freeze.

@LadyDuck I love mushrooms. A couple of weeks ago I bought some beautiful ones and I cooked chicken thighs in mushroom cream.

I am not a good cook so my mom's in charge of the kitchen. She cooks every day.

I place them in small containers so that I thaw the amount I need. That way I can eat different things each day.

I normally only cook stuff for the week for my lunches when I'm working. Dinner is a night-by-night thing.

My biggest meal is at lunch. Usually I only eat a sandwich or an omelet at dinner time.
