The sex life of dinosaurs (worthless discussion)

I have responded to JJ telling us that we were worthless that I would start a worthless discussion during the «earnings don’t show» glitch, here it is.
I hope you enjoy the title. It is a catching one, isn’t it ?
But, voilà, paleontologically speaking, the dinosaurs are like angels, they have no gender, or at least not a bone that a paleontologist can relate to sex : the male, if there were males, had no baculum ; the female, if there were females, had the same skeleton than the male, if there were males.
But the dinosaurs, we all know that, were laying eggs.
It has been advanced that the females were taking the calcium needed for the eggs in the marrow cavities of the bones of their legs, like birds. A specific tissue is created in these cavities before and during the egg-laying period, then if this tissue is found, the bone was pertaining to a pregnant dinosaur.
To sum up, if we cannot tell if a dinosaur had a gender at the view of its skeleton, we can tell if it was pregnant.
If some dinosaurs were pregnant, they had perhaps a sex life. When I type «dinosaurs sex» on Google I get «about 53,900,000» results. It is a proof that humans have a lot of imagination, and I would give you a best off of this imagination, if this site was not PG rated.
You are deceived ? You were warned, I told you at start that this was a worthless discussion.

No, it happened here in the past, and I saw that on several other sites : the earnings are kept on a separate computer/server, and this server has crashed. At best they have just to switch it on, at worst to restore a backup on another server, as there is a daily backup. Last time it happened we did not lost a cent, the updates were done for the time where the balance was showing 0.

The egg of the female dinosaur must have got "fixed" somewhere
I say fixed that is a polite way of saying it I think so at least.
I wish you could tell us all the rest but never mind another time another place.
Its not worthless and its made me laugh too specially about the 200 page book with nothing in the pages.
No comments about that either as it would be rated and not allowed.

Must be something in that then.
What was the male and the female for if not?
All those millions of pages must have one heck of a lot of know how in there.
They were very good Moms to those eggs and near to here there is a place where a whole herd of dinosaurs once lived too.

You are right about that no one goes there very much but the place is awesome and I could feel the presence of them and I did not know about it at the time.
It was on the way back to Pamplona that I found out where we had really been as there are hardly any signposts like most of Spain.
I am off now to keep cool as its very humid today un dia de bochorno is what we call it.
Well as cool as what I can that is.

@lovinangelsinstead21 What can you see there ? I have seen footprints of dinosaurs in a place like this in France.
We were expecting a strong thunderstorm with a lot of wind yesterday evening, and all we got was a small one, not very windy, that lasted half an hour. The sun is back today but the temperature is 10° less than yesterday. Fall is coming, but it is still very dry in my area. Your place is more green and humid than mine, the humidity will come in October here.

probably worth knowing for a dinosaur - if being chased by one I doubt if I'd be aking myself what its gender is

They were more peaceful in Europe than in America, we had certainly less predators like the T-Rex (which is American only). In my area the main part of dinosaurs was looking like big chickens, and they would not have lived long with a lot of predators around. A 1m tall chicken would be interesting today, it is a pity that these ones did not survived.

@arthurchappell And the eggs, each of them was worth a dozen of our eggs.

@DaddyEvil Thank you. I will perhaps start another one about chickenosaurs, it is an attempt by some scientists to create new dinosaurs by selecting the DNA of chickens. Jurassic Park is not far to be real.

@topffer But this one had interesting facts about female dinosaurs I'd never heard before! So it isn't entirely useless!

Hmmmm. I think I've seen lizards do their thing (I think ), but well, I don't know if it's apples to apples . I can't imagine that dinosaurs would be that much different - or was it. They didn't exactly cover this in Jurassic Park .

If it were me, I would have rephrase the heading as 'Dinosaurs and Genders' (I almost AVOIDED this post of yours, but knowing you enough by now, I guess the post would be about something else completely!)
Fascinated re: the info you gave here. Never thought about that aspect of my ancient ancestors, nor dinosaurs... At least I know my ancestors were from two different genders. (Thought dinosaurs are just dinosaurs.)
