My husband and I have been having a wonderful trip to the East Coast to see our daughters and grandchildren who live there. We have been having so much fun, and I will post some pictures soon.
We expect to be home in a couple of days and I will strive to get caught up on my notifications over Labor Day weekend.
I hope all has been going well with everyone here on MyLot while we have been gone. Feel free to update me on what has been happening in your lives in the comments section and I will try to catch up with everyone as soon as possible.
I look forward to being back at the beach, back on MyLot and back with my normal life in the coming weeks.

I got that feeling when I was holidaying in the US. 55 days was far too much and I just longed to get back.

@LadyDuck - Oh, my! I am glad I wasn't around when that happened. I'm sure there were a lot of upset people. Everything seems to be back to normal, now. I hope you have been doing well while I was gone.

@DeborahDiane The problem only lasted a few hours, enough to make some people upset, that was very rude towards the site. Everything went well here. The heat is over, we now have a very comfortable temperature.

@LadyDuck - I'm sorry people got rude towards the site. I know we earn money here but, really, how upset can you get over $5.00? Is it really worth it to get rude about?

Home is where the heart is, really.
We recently visited my older sister.
Parting was bitter sweet.
I wish someday she and her children will be closer to us.

@proseprity68 - I understand how you feel. I loved the time with my daughter and grandchildren and wish she lived closer. It is hard to know I won't see them again for about 7 months.

@DeborahDiane Wow, 7 months, that is now a shorter time for me and my daughter to see my older sister and her kids once again.
I never realized that 6 years was a long time not to have seen my older sister and her kids.
Parting at the airport shredded my heart :-(

I love my home and when I am away from it I miss it. Also I miss my much loved pet dog. While away he is cared for by a kind friend. I like my local beaches however swimming isn't possible due to dangerous tides and sinking mud. I love to travel to different countries.

@marlina - That is the beach a couple of miles from my home. I went walking there this morning with a friend. It was nice to get my feet back in the sand and water. Now I really feel like I am home!

Three months back I went to my country home after being away for 12 years.
First spot I touched at home was the village playing ground where we do traditional wrestling amongst other play.
I Was greeted with many childhood friends, too bad I have forgotten many of them.
Always good being at home once a while.
