Isn't my name clear enough for you to address me as a dude? Please, don't call me a dude and please don't use that expression when you don't have an inkling what it means at all. The dictionary clearly defines a dude as man or a guy. Is my name Grand Prince and not Princess? Several years ago I tried to correct guys in the chat room calling me dude and they still didn't get it. Dude for them seemed to be an expression in addressing someone be it a man or a woman. And just now, somebody just called me a dude again. And I really don't like it at all and when I tell them I'm not a dude, they seem to be offended! To all the mylot girls, do you like being called a dude?

I fully approve what you said, I am not a "guy", I am not a "dude" and I am not a "bro", when will people learn to respect the others?

Most young people use these expressions without considering respect at all. They just think it's cool so they do that. They should be educated.

Honestly, I do not care, but I am a man, and I would not even call a grand prince like this, it sounds too familiar.

Not saying they are right or you are but with a name like you have (instead of taking a name that is short and wouldn't invite such upsetting--to you--words) you are basically asking for the name calling. I am not saying it is right but just as that is not your picture in the avatar--unless you are a dog and that is what you are called--why not just call yourself Anne? Yes I know you should be able to call yourself whatever you want and be respected that is NOT the way the world works as I know being open about being Gay. And do people really call you by your full name as you say to Alfredo?? Even the Queen of England is NOT called by her full name!

It's not that I disagree or agree @toniganzon but over the past 2 decades the idiom 'dude' has been consistently used by the younger generation regardless of the other persons gender.
