Yikes, that is something i'd expect for FL not NJ.
we (MA) got up to low 90s today. way too hot. but the hottest its been all summer so that's not too bad.

WE have a little respite this week, today we're only supposed to top out at 80. We'll see. It's a much cooler August than we usually get. July was insufferable, day after day of 100-plus and not much cooling at night. So we are relieved this week. Supposed to get back to 90s this weekend. I'm sorry your neighbor got met with that awful heat.

For those of us who live in Florida, it is hard for us to fathom that it can be hotter somewhere else in the country. I thought Florida in the summertime is about as bad as it can get! I wonder if NJ has as bad of humidity as Florida does in the summer. I could tolerate 104 if the humidity was low.

Yes it does @moffittjc. It gets just as bad in New Jersey and like here, my air conditioners were always on from July to the end of September sometimes.
