Can you use a Hot DOG as bait? WHY?

I was having a class and talking about catching fish in the river. We talked about the things he can use. As a follow-up question, I asked: "Can we use a worm as bait?" Whoah! I had my nosebleed when he said, "I can use a hot dog as bait." I can't control myself and burst into laughter.
To clear out the wrong notion, I asked the question again. He got the right answer. The culprit is playing a computer game while having a class. It is indeed, a naughty boy. He was caught off guard for not focusing during the online class.
"Do you think kids are so addicted to computer games?"
"How can you deal with this naughty kid?"
"Have you ever tried to catch fish before?"

Yes. I did it when I was younger. It was fun finding worms for bait rather than fishing itself.

1. I can't complain about kids playing pc games. I play just as much as they do
2. Well, he did answer the question. That being said, the school needs to invest in or improve their blocking software. Btw catfish love hot dogs
