Can you use a Hot DOG as bait? WHY?

I was having a class and talking about catching fish in the river. We talked about the things he can use. As a follow-up question, I asked: "Can we use a worm as bait?" Whoah! I had my nosebleed when he said, "I can use a hot dog as bait." I can't control myself and burst into laughter. To clear out the wrong notion, I asked the question again. He got the right answer. The culprit is playing a computer game while having a class. It is indeed, a naughty boy. He was caught off guard for not focusing during the online class. "Do you think kids are so addicted to computer games?" "How can you deal with this naughty kid?" "Have you ever tried to catch fish before?" Image Credit: pixabay.com

I have heard that cheese is a good bait. I don't know why it would work but apparently it does sometimes.

Uhm I think that is a good option to use as a bait. Have you tried to go fishing, my friend?

You are right. Kids are addicted to computer games. We caught a huge barracuda in Florida.

@DianneN I think that's a good situation. We also limit the use of these things with my little niece.

Yes. I did it when I was younger. It was fun finding worms for bait rather than fishing itself.

@Shavkat I have never been fishing . I think kids are addicted to cell phones and do not learn like they once did before cell phones were invented.

I agree. Most of them are not interested in doing outdoor activities. Thus, most kiddies are obese.

Don't know re: kids playing computer. Some could be very addicted I guess. I went fishing before, sometimes the result was good, sometimes bad.

You are so lucky to experience fishing. I am so ignorant about it. The millennials are into computer games nowadays.

1. I can't complain about kids playing pc games. I play just as much as they do 2. Well, he did answer the question. That being said, the school needs to invest in or improve their blocking software. Btw catfish love hot dogs 3. I've been fishing several times in the past

I think you have a point. Children need to try everything in the computer word. If not, they will be left behind. I hope there is a software to block the games during the online classes.

Honestly, I haven't tried it. It would be scary to be a bait as the ship is sinking.

that kid kabsat should be called his attention to; he should be aware that he is getting online education from you.

Actually, I called his attention during the class. We were not able to finish the class on time and gave some feedback for his parents to see after the class.

I do agree with your claim. We cannot generalize that children are addicted to computer games.
