Happy To Garden Today

Today, on the first day of the beautiful month of September, I must say that I am a happy lady.
The weather is gogeous and I feel better than I did all week, so I was able to go outside and do some gardening. Nothing pleases me more than this.
The summer was way too humid and hot to let me do all the gardening that I wanted to do. The weather and not feeling so great were my two ennemies.
So, I totally appreciate the fact that today on September 1st, I was able to finally do what I like to do.
I hope that you were given the same opportunity.

I don't want to read that you are out of commission today.
Pace yourself, its a long weekend and hopefully the weather will allow for a few more nice days for you to garden.

I didn't do any gardening, but I did go horseback riding early this morning and had two of my grandchildren over for breakfast after that!

@marlina - Every Sunday morning at 8:00 I go on a one hour trail ride. At 7:00 am, my husband plays 9 holes of golf with some friends. We both make it home by 9:10, which gives us plenty of time to go to a 10:00 church service and still have our grandchildren over for brunch or a late breakfast. Starting out early in the morning with a horseback ride starts my day off right!

Your garden flowers are beautiful! I am glad that it is cooling down for you. Today is Labor Day and it is overcast a bit and feels better outside. It is not cool but not scorching either.

I'm glad you got to be in your garden today @marlina. .. yes our summer has been hot and humid ...we too are welcoming september as around the middle of the month the humidity starts getting less and less and is just a memory by the end of the month.... hopefully...
