Can I really earn money sitting at Home?

September 3, 2018 9:37am CST
I have read a lot of articles and have watched tons of YouTube videos in which everyone describes how easy is it to earn sitting at home. They easily give names of 20 websites from which you can earn and 50 other methods. But I have tried so many of them and have never actually earned much except a little amoung from my blog. So, it is really possible to earn a good income from home?

I have my own design business. But I have passive income from Fiverr and Graphicriver. It's not much, just about 200usd per months but it's nice to get extra cash every month.

@lovelife1234 Graphicriver is selling page for design. You can get great designs only start from $6 and you can edit the design by yourself. I am attaching my design that I put in Graphicriver.

oh, that's great. I actually got a decline email from Fiverr, not sure about the reason though. But I haven't heard of Graphicriver yet. Would love to try it. What exactly is it about? And for someone like me who does not earn anything, $200 is a lot of money.

You can't totally depend on it...but you can make some money like 10-50$ from home by blogging and taking part in survey and mylotting combined.

Thanks for the answer, I can agree with blogging but which site to go for taking surveys? I have never earned anything from such sites. Do you recommend any such site?

@lovelife1234 You can try Zap surveys which is an app on iOS for surveys. I have earned 25 dollars from it so can vouch for its genuineness.

@aadesh_1987 wow....really....I would definitely try this one. Even if I get a small amount, I'll be happy that I'll make at least some money.

What kind of job are you looking for? You might want to check Appen or Amazon remote jobs. If you're in the US, Sykes is another company offering at home jobs. Not sure if they're offering anything for out of state. Only thing about Sykes is that you must have a land line phone and be able to gurantee a noise free back ground. On the bright side, you are considered an employee and get employee benefits

@lovelife1234 If you're interested in Youtube or blogging, look into becoming an influencer. You know those YouTubers that post make up tutorials? That is basically what they are. They are paid by those companies to promote those products

Thanks for the information Shasta, but I am not from US, I see a lot of opportunities from US but in my country, I can't make much money by such online kind of jobs except for becoming a YouTuber or may be a blogger.

I have made "some" money online, but never enough for a living or to substitute for having a job. I think it could happen, but not sure how, myself.
3 Sep 18
True. I have been searching about this for almost a week and I have not got up to a point where I can even earn enough money to make a decent pocket money. Videos make it look so easy to earn but in reality it is so hard to find the right opportunity

Welcome to myLot. Enjoy the site! The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself. Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction. Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky. **Please add the name of your country to your account page.**
Have questions about myLot? Help is here!

Thanks for the help. I do like myLot as a platform for discussion and would certainly read the Guidelines.

Maybe only if you run those websites that make that claim.

@lovelife1234 Most often usually the case.

lol...Thats actually the perfect answer. Whenever I see such videos I always read the comment section, and there are hundreds of people commenting that its fraud and the maker of the video got a high amount of check for making the video.

Try this website which lists lots of global jobs, and jobs you can apply to according to your particular skills and talents. I currently work for Appen Global and also has an English tutor for Cambly.
