Can You Handle POWER TRIPPERS in Your Company?

I am so dead tired of the company's own system tonight. It seems the bad day strikes unexpectedly today. The company's admin is so demanding and requesting for a coaching session. I didn't respond right away because I was loaded with online students at night. Thus, they closed most of my classes booked online. The course of action is to contact them despite having classes online at the same time. The end result is to have the session tomorrow afternoon. I felt so bad because they cannot even check my schedules online and acted as like it was my fault. I can deal with the online students. But the admin part, they always drain my energy. I personally think that I need to hunt for another job as back-up. "Have you ever tried to experience such people?" "Are they control freaks?" Image Credit: hollisterstaff.com

i think that is a disadvantage of being in an online job. the other end does not know how tired you are now, and if you have free time still.

You had described it well. They are simply insensitive. In fact, I considered them puppets in the company. They always bowing their heads to this foreign company.

@ridingbet Yes, Kabsat. He cannot stand on their own feet. Even if they knew that there are some flaws.

I guess there’s always one in every organization you join in. I usually just shrug them off especially when I am attending to something.

I am not good at dealing with the admin. Sometimes I always thought that it is easy to work with foreign people than our fellowmen.

@Shavkat well power trippers are all the same whether they’re foreigners or fellowmen. If they find you affected they’ll get to you even more.

I feel your frustration. Some administrations are more difficult to work with than others. They may be pressured themselves by their boss.

You have a point, my friend. They are also doing their job. However, it was not done inappropriate way. As I can see, they are working like puppets in the company. In fact, they don't care about the virtual teachers' welfare. That made them so unprofessional in some ways.

@DianneN When I had the session with this admin yesterday, I was totally in shocked. For him, it is fine to be disrespected even if the student acted so rude towards me. Why? Because the student had paid for my service. Wow! Is he listening to himself? It was proven that they really don't care.

@Shavkat I totally understand. It doesn't sound appropriate or well handled to me either.

How come you don’t work for hospitals in the field you qualified in?

I must say that working in the hospitals are not worth it. For the reason that it doesn't pay much in my country. I am still connected to an international NGO. But, I am not ready to work with them.

@YrNemo You said it right. The closest country that I wanted to work in certain hospitals is in Canada. But then, I prefer to work in an international NGO. Soon, I will do this passion of interest. I need to focus more on inheritance issue with my evil relatives.

It is really a real fact that we can encounter such people. We need to find ways not to be stressed out as much as possible. I had learned to deal with them with so much consideration.

Honestly, I just wanted to work for this company as part-time at first. But then, I was hooked working them because of practical reasons and that is, it pays more than the regular jobs in my city. Through the years, the admin part is the downside. For this reason, I just ignored them because they are not the one paying me. The admin and I are working for this company. Thus, Thus, I realized that they can never pull me down that easily.

I was lucky enough to have a job I liked but I'm glad that I am now retired. Perhaps it is time you looked for something else.

I agree. I am going to hunt again. It was really not healthy to work with them. They always do this. If they have some flaws, they pretend that there is nothing wrong.

I have this notion that why should I have to resign from this company. The admin and I are also employees of the same company. We are going to have a coaching session later. I will let him have some lessons that he can never forget.

@august18 I think the coaching session went well today. However, I also gave him some flaws in the company. He cannot answer some of my questions.
