My weird life 9-3-'18

two days ago the neighbor called to see if we wanted the yard mowed. I said I will talk to daughter about it . cause neighbor didn't know but I was contemplating if I could afford 20 bucks right then, even though the yard so needed it. I was hoping daughter would say she could either go in on it or pay this time. since it is all I had on me at the time. Looking at this giant weed growing like a tree in front of my window I decided I would go ahead and give up my 20. so I called back and told her they could cut the grass when they got to it. Next day, daughter says if I still have the twenty they could put in on it and buy a mower online for 30 bucks. okay, the neighbor had not done it yet so I went for the idea. They didn't get the mower so I was glad I hadn't canceled the neighbor yet. making a shorter story, yard still not done, I am still being annoyed by the "tree" weed growing by my window. uuuhhh! photo is of potatoes fixed with breakfast. yum. I seldom get potatoes since here pasta and rice seems to be the norm in this house So glad when I can talk someone into it. I used to fix potatoes every day when I could cook. what about you. ? It has rained every stinking day for nearly 2 weeks hate it. Only thing making life worth living is watching all the podcasts about Big Brother . Love it so much that I have actually went on my All Access CBS and watched the first 2 seasons which some how I missed what with working back then sorry this is so long. Still appreciate all your prayers friends. Love you all.

A day without potatoes is like a day without sunshine ! Hope that tree weed gets taken care of before it becomes a bean stalk

My mother and I are big potato eaters, we eat them much more than pasta or rice. We have a guy who lives in the neighborhood who comes and takes care of our outside work. We don't have a lawn, we have rocks out front and it's just woods in back. So he has to come trim the shrubs and rake out the rocks, kill any weeds that start growing between them. He doesn't charge much because everybody loves my mama.

my daughter said if she gets time she will pull it up. she says most people don't look at it like a weed but as for me, i see nothing nice about it.

@Courtlynn thanks. my little champion girl. my daughter works too much on her job and her bf is a bit of a lazy guy. don't know what else to say. guess if i lived in a retirement home though i would always just get what they make me. so i am better off here. don't worry.

It has rained here almost every day since June. Today has been flooding in some areas it's rained so much. I am waiting for my daughter and my dinner to get finished. It's a new recipe for Ranch potatoes. It smells good and I'm hoping it will taste just as good.

Wonder why your neighbors called to see if you needed to have the lawn done, you said yes and it is not done yet.

I'm a big fan of potatoes, and so is my daughter. I always tease her that she can't ever eat a meal without some potato-based product being on the menu.

Yard work that does not get done is frustrating. I constantly have to clip "trees". I am lucky I can still mow, but I have to do it in small bunches. We eat more potatoes than rice or pasta.

see there. i just happened to get stuck some how in a family that seems to prefer rice or pasta i will never know how my daughter changed. she was raised on potatoes and occasionally pasta. once in a great while rice.

Sounds like a lot of trouble with getting that yard mowed. I'm sure your "tree" is loving those rains though. My husband is a potatoes with every meal kind of guy. Sometimes I have so many potatoes that I get sick of them. But they are not hard to fix. They should fix you some potatoes if you want some!

yes i put them on the list and pay for them lots of times then most go to waste. makes me so mad. cause they are not hard to fix if someone is able to cook and cooking already. yes getting pretty tired of that giant weed. he missed it last time and will hear about it this time if he misses it again.
